Sorry bout the double post..forum being weird again.

anyway - its a solid price, and a fun gun to shoot. If this is the A1 version then it's the reciprocating handle version, the newer ones they changed to be non-reciprocating..but I think its easy to change. My only complaint are the mags..they're finicky with certain types of ammo (all steel for sure) about properly exiting the mag and loading into the chamber. Wonder if its the plastic, or the design or both...

It's expensive to modify an A1 to be non-reciprocating. If you want a Stribog that doesn't reciprocate, get the SP9A1 non-reciprocating model or newer. As far as the mags are concerned, the reviews of the new curved mags have been positive. Seems to eliminate the shortcomings of the stick mags.

I've been seeing those in email ads sent by lots of places at much lower prices than I've seen in the past.
Sorry, I can't afford one, so I typically just delete it.

Try looking here. They don't have ALL sources listed, but it's a good place to start.

I stopped using steel case ammo in everything but AKs years ago due to issues with it. Always messed up and caused jams, fte’s, etc in any semi pistol, revolver, AR I used it in. AK’s obviously designed for steel case so no issues there. Hopefully I won’t have any issues with brass cased in the Stribog . Can should work nicely too on it .
