Because the committee was not assembled properly, he’s questioning their authority to compel witness testimony.

They can call all the witnesses they want, but they can not force anyone to appear because the committee was not assembled properly.

I’m not sure what the difference is between my original post and your clarification???

Different issues, but procedurally that's what happened in 2015-2017 on the federal level, especially with the affordable care act. When the Republicans could get rid of Obama-care, they squabbles amongst themselves, after sending the repeal to the President's desk in 2015 for the obvious veto.

I interpreted your original to post to mean he was questioning the Commission's authority to compel testimony from any and all witnesses called, because you did not say the committee was improperly assembled. The article I read stated that Mastriano acknowledges a properly constituted commission HAS the authority to call and compel witness testimony, but THIS commission DOES NOT, because it is not properly constituted, and there is no one on the commission who would act in an impartial manner toward the witnesses. I wasn't trying to refute your post, but enhance it with information I had just finished reading.

Clearly Matt Hackenburg (L) is on his way to a decisive victory. Libertarian voters be sure to cast your votes for him. Shapiro has no chance....

One poll means nothing. Looking at the aggregate of polls shows a better direction of what we can expect. Mastriano is still down considerably. Get everyone you know out to vote, it*s very important. Especially considering Shapiro is Wolf 2.0 and I*d like to have a less authoritarian asshole running the state.
