Re: Governor's Race 2022
Heard on the 1210 WPHT Rich Zeoli show podcast today that there is some palace intrigue afoot within the PA GOP power structure. Apparently, there's some smoke-filled back room plan to thwart Mastriano by havimg two of the top tier candidates drop-out and throw their endorsement to the remaining against Mastriano. Probably too late for that but apparently the king makers don't want Mastriano as they don't think he can beat Shapiro.
Also, people getting mailers from the PA dems attacking Mastriano, possible in a reverse psych ploy to get people to vote for him as an "I'll show you" so he's on the ballot in November. Help me out...I'm leaning Mastriano so what's the concern by the GOP power elite and why do the dems think he's the most beatable?"Everyone is entitled to my opinion." - Gman106

Re: Governor's Race 2022
I'd have to agree that it might be tough for him to win. Wolf beat Corbett in 2014 and Wagner in 2018. Mastriano is more conservative than those and won't get many 'swing votes', and PA has been becoming increasingly Dem.
That said, I'd certainly vote for him, but then consider the demographic here, which I fear is not of the same mindset of the majority of the state.

I never viewed Wagner as a strong candidate, he looked like a fish out of water to me.

Trump stated on Truth he will be endorsing a PA Gov candidate shortly. I’m guessing he will back Barletta

If Mastriano wins it's a guarantee that the next governor will be a democrat and more lockdowns will occur.
