I saw that, the PMK looks like the right model for a revolver. I need to see if he does more custom work. I*m actually looking to see if I can get Python skin on the outside of the holster as an accent piece. Pimping it out to be honest.

Check out Sam Andrews - http://www.andrewsleather.com/. The site is a little difficult to navigate, but he does excellent work. He offers python skin holsters, though he warns that they are more for presentation or special occasion than for regular wear.

Yeah, but that's the link to his actual website, not Facebook.

Thanks again, I just read that and now need to rethink my plan as I intended to the holster for more than show. Certainly not full time carry rig but depending on circumstances occasional use but in an environment where it could rub against stuff, even chairs. I*ll send him a note and get his expert opinion.

Thanks all, A lot of great resources in here, I*ll update this with whatever direction I go. I*ll also get off my iPad some day and copy all the links to OP so if anyone else searches leather holsters they can find the info quickly.

It looks like I'll be carrying the remote around for the spinal stim in my back. So I think ill.be stopping at Duvall and have him cobble a holster together for it.

My wife has an interest in leather work. And I need a holster for my stimulator remote. So she wanted to go to hobby lobby to see what they had. They had a few precut patterns including a few holsters. Basicly stitch together and die it. You could wet form it or modify how you like.

So I went with Lobo Gunleather, link in OP. Highly recommend, I couldn't be happier with finish and quality. The Colt fits perfectly with the right amount of tension. The black scales are python skin to match the revolver.

The only thing I'd change is maybe going with the colored stitching as a highlight. But I love black and in the daylight the different dimensions and pieces show wonderfully.
