PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A homicide investigation is underway on the grounds of an elementary school in Philadelphia's Kensington neighborhood. That's where police say someone attacked and killed a 37-year-old man with a rock on Thursday afternoon. The victim was found outside of Cramp Elementary School on the 3400 block of Mascher Street just before 12 p.m.

Neighbors say the 37-year-old man was allegedly stealing from a homeowner on Waterloo Street before the assault. Police do have a man in custody. It's unclear what charges he may be facing

It's only a matter of time now, crimes has been spreading to the "safe" parts of the city more and more lately. But it won't matter when it happens in my opinion, there are way to many people that just don't care anymore

Two of the injured victims were rushed from a Philadelphia triple shooting on ATVs after at least two gunmen fired into a crowd of people Sunday night, Philadelphia police said. Officers on patrol saw various people on ATVs and other vehicles driving away from Hunting Park Plaza along East Hunting Park Avenue near G Street in North Philadelphia where the shooting took place just after 11 p.m., investigators said.

The police found it acceptable because they were wearing masks and were fully vaccinated.
