Being a Philly firefighter every motorcycle/ATV/dirt bike accident I've been to in my 27 years on the job doesn't turn out well for the riders. Whether it's vs a car, a bus, a wall, a semi, or just dumping it on 76 or 95, death or grievous injury awaits them.

Good luck banning them. I'm sure the DA told the PPD not to pursue them. Just like illegal fireworks in the city. Cops can't arrest, confiscate, or write a citation, only advise the idiots that's it's dangerous and they shouldn't be doing it.

When I was in Philly, friends use to only ride dirt bikes on the trails and fields in the far NE near Bensalem, but never on the street. We had a little too much respect for our neighbors and police, plus iif we got caught it was the end of the bike.....
