Just remember, Youtube removes videos that promote criminal activity. Well, except for some.

Yeah a designated area is a no go.There would be gangs/groups from all over the city jockeying for dominance and trying to run the place just likey do at neighborhood playgrounds. There would be drug shit going on,fights, shooting and the bodies will drop and pile up.
Besides, their designated area of choice is Broad Street where they can show off,be seen and try to goad the police into chasing them.If they can't do all of that then what good is it?

Obviously a rapid deployment piano wire device is needed.

Back when I was a little nipper, they placed one of those at the local silt basin where we used to ride and it cost some kid his life. I did not know the guy.

I do agree with a large park or riding area. The city has plenty of abandoned properties or can convert areas into a riding track and possibly charge for usage to help with maintenance cost.

Krichardson is correct. The city could build, manage and admit everyone for free, a world class track/off road venue and no one would use it. What they do is about terrorizing neighborhoods, not riding off road vehicles.

Not only shot him in the head and killed him. But then someone else stole his dirtbike.

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are investigating a fatal shooting of a 21-year-old man in the city's Port Richmond section.

The incident was reported Saturday at approximately 11:30 p.m. during a large dirt bike and motorcycle gathering near the intersection of Aramingo Avenue and Butler Street.

Officials say a 21-year-old man was riding his dirt bike when another man on a motorcycle shot him in the head.

The shooter then fled the scene, officials say.

Authorities confirm a second man stole the victim's dirt bike and also fled the area.

The victim was pronounced dead on the scene.

Police called an assist to help with containing the large crowd during the initial call.

So far, no arrests have been made at this time.

So sad and I'm fresh out of sympathy.
