You know Miss Labs had to have had some fun nicknames in high school.
"Everyone is entitled to my opinion." - Gman106
"Everyone has a plan till they get punched in the face." - Mike Tyson
"Get the hell out of my way." - John Galt

This. This is pointless with Wolf as Governor.

Let's really start pushing this through just before the next election, so it's ready to go for the next Governor to sign - I am very confident that we'll get a Republican

Yeah I put a call in to Farry yesterday. He "wasn't in," but I was assured a call back from the man himself. We'll see how that goes.

Not pointless at all. First, we get a recorded vote which is key for use in the next election cycle. We'll know who is with us and against us. Second, it helps us line up people the next time the bill is run. Third, we shouldn't let who is in the Governor chair determine what we do. We do the right thing regardless. Force Wolf to veto it. Let him go on record vetoing the bill.

But none of that really matters. The same people are going to get re-elected, regardless of how they voted last time. The incumbent almost always win. Sot hose that voted against it will keep their jobs and vote against it next time.

As far as making Wolf veto it, that accomplishes nothing. We already know he hates us and he hates guns. If anything it just makes him look to to his fellow communists in the country

There's a very, very real chance we'll see a Red Tide, including the Governor, and then we can get things done

No, it all matters. The same people are NOT always going to be re-elected. The goal is to get recorded votes and then, selectively, pick a primary target and go after that individual and replace them with a pro-gun candidate in the primary. This happens ALL the time. Recorded votes reveal to us who is really with us or against us. We don't always know until we get a recorded vote. We teach this professionally at GOA in our grassroots activism course. Also, from pushing the bill we learn where the weak people are. They may vote right if it gets to that stage, but they may not move the bill (think leadership here like committee chairs). That's also good information. None of this can happen unless we have legislation and push it.
