looking for pics of 14.5 ar15 with a 14 inch rail

I tried finding that setup in a picture for you, but the one promising hit for a forum had the pic removed. So, I figured more common would be a 12.5 with 12" rail. While not the dimensions, if you're looking for a "look", this might offer some insight.

What is your goal for 14.5" barrel with a 14" rail?

It would look CORNY as Hell! The only thing showing would be the muzzle attachment. I don*t even run 15* rails. It*s just more useless weight. Also..., I spend a good bit on a quality barrel, & actually LIKE seeing it.

Of course I know Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I for one, will always LOVE how 12* rails look. And I*ll never go under 16* barrel length again.

This just *looks* right to me. And can*t argue the nice velocity gain with 16* over 14.5. I still don*t understand what people think they are gaining by chopping 1.5*??

I have a 11.5in rail on a 12.3in barrel. It's a bit close to the muzzle but I wanted the rail space. Remember - the barrel measurement starts at the tip of the threads.

thanks im going to go with it i ordered a midwest industries 14in rail and a rosco 14.5 midlength barrel i was concerned with the muzzle brake clearing rail etc im going to pin and weld a vg6 gamma
