Give 'em a break. They only get to play cop a few months out of the year.

So what you are saying is that you don't want to answer the question that was asked. Is that it?

I thought you would figure out the answer, silly me

Never broke a game regulation in my life. Does not change the fact that game wardens are some of the worst ego cases in uniform

Absolutely. My best friend was a deputy WCO. Great guy, but played the "McGarret" role, max charges for minimum violation as directed by his WCO. Always had the local DJ reduce or throw out the charges. He passed in 2014, may he rest in peace.

Anyone who has ever been on a farm will know that cattle can be very dangerous. We raise beef cattle, their blood is mostly hereford, but mixed with some other breeds.

Cows with calves can turn into murderous bitches if you aren't careful. Now, most cows or cows+calves are docile, but there is always that one where natural instincts take over. People forget that cattle are related to bison and cape buffalo - two of the most dangerous animals on the planet.

Bulls, they are often docile until around 18 to 24 months of age. Then can get VERY aggressive regardless of cows being in heat or your gender. When cows are in heat, just stay the fuck away, far away. We usually send our bulls to market after their first breeding around 2-3 years of age. After that they are too difficult for us to handle(two uncles, in their 60's and 70's). During that young docile period people often get acclimated to the gentle side, but forget what they turn into. Docile bulls after 3-4 years old are rare.

Wire/wood fences aren't really a barrier to cattle. ...more of a courtesy marker. Added electric just only spooks back the docile critters, and only adds to anger an already hostile bovine if it is intent on coming after you.

Shot a goose that glided down forever. Wife, both kids and I crossed a pasture to the woods where it crash landed to look for it and the mate that followed it down. Returning through that same pasture, the farmer's cows, about a dozen of them, came running toward us. They got very near and scared the hell out of us. I fired the shotgun I was carrying, expecting them to spook away from us. No reaction whatsoever. But they stopped advancing and we left unscathed.

I told the farmer about it. He laughed and said they would never hurt us. He failed to convince me of that.
