Oddly enough, I've never seen anyone gathering eggs with more than one basket.

So you show it to cop and he squints and says he can*t see it. You hand him the phone.
Guess what you just did, Einstein? Yeah, gave him access to the whole thing, no search warrant needed!

    Brilliant move, just brilliant.

I can certainly understand that sentiment. I have the file with my ID in a segregated part of the phone. To see anything else the cop would need to know my pin number.

You are right though the cop could certainly pull some kind of a douche move and try to seize my phone for some reason. Thanks for your (and everyone else's input)

Password protected partitions are in fact a thing.

Your ID and data are far more secure in an 8 digit password protected phone than they are in your pocket in a wallet which can easily be lost or stolen.

Also, I make it a definite habit to never put anything illegal on me, my person, my premises, or my phone.

If one's License to Carry a Firearms revoked, then it is turned in physically to the sheriff's office. I don't think a photo on your phone will pass as the license.

    (i) Revocation.--A license to carry firearms may be revoked
by the issuing authority for good cause. A license to carry
firearms shall be revoked by the issuing authority for any
reason stated in subsection (e)(1) which occurs during the term
of the permit. Notice of revocation shall be in writing and
shall state the specific reason for revocation. Notice shall be
sent by certified mail to the individual whose license is
revoked, and, at that time, notice shall also be provided to the
Pennsylvania State Police by electronic means, including e-mail
or facsimile transmission, that the license is no longer valid.
An individual whose license is revoked shall surrender the
license to the issuing authority within five days of receipt of
the notice. An individual whose license is revoked may appeal to
the court of common pleas for the judicial district in which the
individual resides. An individual who violates this section
    commits a summary offense.
