Finally home, fed and laying back in the La-Z-Boy. Thanks to panuntnfool for opening up his place for this event. The crowd was smaller but the times were just as good as always. The weather was much better than it was the last two years with lower temps, cloud cover and a light breeze. pahuntnfool and RL Suehr kept us fed and the fruit salad and chicken egg rolls were just as good. Thanks to Grizzlytrap and Line Walker for a great time at Camp Grizzly too.

Found among yesterday's brass haul. I'll let the guilty party comment if he wants to.

I showed some of the videos to the owners of the van service I drive for. Didn't know if they were shooters or not, just showing them why I needed off yesterday. They want to come next year. Asked me where I was getting my ammo from my reply "My closet".

I guess I can be even less concerned about carrying while driving now.

Hey if you're going to spend more on 9mm than you would on .40 you should be able to use it in either.

Oops! Gilty as charged. Never realized the M&P9 mag fit inside the 40. The bottom of the mag wasn't flush but I assumed it was a 15 rounder without the spacer. 13 rounds is standard and flush so the 15 takes the optional spacer.
There was no recoil and didn't eject and thought is was a squib. Then the same thing happened on the next round and knew something was wrong so showed the spent shell to Scruff who recognized it right away as a 9 in a 40 gun. Thanks Scruff. At least there was no damage to the pistol or me. Seems there should be some way to prevent a wrong caliber mag fitting so easily in the wrong gun.

I have one of those fire formed 9 to 40 cases on my load bench too.
It is a cheaper aluminum case though and not the high priced brass as pictured.
