York County LTCF renewal times

Has anyone done an LTCF renewal recently in York County? I am curious as to the current wait or turn around time. I know in other years they have been amazing quick at processing applications and renewals. I also see that it can be done online now.

It's been a couple years since my last renewal and there was no way to do it online
at the time.
While they would not allow folks to walk-in and get it done "while you wait", twice now
I've mailed in the form and had a letter back in 3 days saying to come in and pick it up.
At those times they still took the photo so you had to go there.

I'm also curious to hear if things have changed in the last year or so.

Did mine last summer: 3 weeks, and two of those was me waiting to get to the courthouse.

Yeah, I just got my renewal notice this week. My current expires 3rd week of August.

Not a renewal but, 2 friends of mine both applied for their initial LTCF last month and both were approved and ready for pickup next day, found out through their experience that York now does their applications online and also has a satellite location for LTCF right off of 30 near the york mall

I just moved to York County. I applied on July 3rd online (Saturday of a holiday weekend) and I got a text message on July 5th (first business day) saying it was ready for pick up.

To pick it up I was away from my house for a grand total of about an hour including drive time, parking time, walking to the courthouse time, getting my picture taken time, chatting with the sheriff time, etc. I wasn't inside the courthouse for more than 5 minutes.

But I did have to pay 75 cents to park. So there was that...

Update to my original post. I did my renewal application online last week. Submitted it around 9pm. I got a call and e-mail at noon the next day saying that I was good to go and to set up appointment to pick up. Can't really get much quicker.

The wife got hers last week in a matter of hours online. I was told the new Sheriff's outpost by the galleria has metal detectors, and is going to install gun lockers. I would think since there's no courtroom in that building then it is a violation of PA preemption law... Has anyone spoken with the sheriff lately?
