    Default Tapco AK Magazines

I am looking to get a few more 30 round magazines for my AK and found these:

I am wondering if anyone has any experience with them? I'd like to know if they're decent before I buy any.

Not to say that they aren't any good but why would you buy them when there is a plethora of steel AK mags that are cheaper?

    Buy a bunch of these.

+1. The steel mags are better.

And you can get pro mag AK mags cheaper than the tapco ones too.

I like the look of them, but Tapco doesn't use any metal reinforcement on the mags, so reliability is questionable. I will probably by a couple myself just to test.

you could split a head open with a steel mag.
makes me wonder how long they'll last till the lips are too worn.

I guess it's pretty clear then...I had only wondered if the plastic mags were better but you guys make some good points.

    Thanks for the help!
