Dear

Yesterday the PA House Judiciary Committee, as we forecast, brought up two ‘very’ important pieces of legislation to our Right To Keep and Bear Arms – HB 659 (Constitutional Carry-Bernstine) and HB 979 (Preemption of Firearms Law Strengthening). FOAC has been working on these bills going back years with Rep. Saccone and Rep. Metcalf (over ten years)!

HB 979 – Preemption Strengthening Judiciary Vote

HB 979 – Bill Information: https://foac-pac.org/Proposed-Pennsy...State-Law/4409

BOTH of these important bills passed by identical 14-11 margins with notorious Rino Republican, Todd Stevens, voting against both bills. Chairman Kauffman is to be complimented for standing by our Constitution and common sense as BOTH of these bills are critically important, as we have stated before.

Sitting with other FOAC Members at the meeting, BOD Member Jim Stoker, Paul & Cheryl Whitehouse, etc.; I was struck by the debate in the Committee. First, both Reps. Aaron Bernstine and Matthew Dowling did a great job at presenting the issues BUT the Democrats on the committee, with the exception of Christopher Rabb, seemed not only unprepared but openly embraced the unsubstantiated ramblings/talking points of CeaseFire PA and Mom’s Demand Action. What was MOST disturbing was the cavalier attitude toward Pittsburgh and Harrisburg in defiantly violating PA Crimes Code with impunity!

I would encourage you to watch this video of the meeting: https://s3.us-east-2.amazonaws.com/p.../713655638.mp4 and share it with your friends who don’t want to get involved. To have an ENTIRE political party ‘reject the rule of law’ and their Oath to the Constitution to protect it just adds to the sadness surrounding the actions of the Democrat party and underscores how far they have fallen in standing for the common man.

We have a tough struggle ahead of us on both bills and I ask you, and your friends, to talk to your State Representative and your State Senator about these two bills and ask them to support them and encourage them to be brought to the floor for a vote of both bodies. Let's get both of them on the Governor's desk and then we can deal with him if he won't stand for the law and our Constitution.

Thank you for your support for FOAC and our Freedoms!

Kim Stolfer, President
