Pa to Indiana
My wife went to Indianapolis to visit a friend. She ended up in the hospital. I am leaving early tomorrow morning. For Indianapolis, my understanding is my LTCF will be recognized in West Virginia, Ohio, And Indiana. My understanding is in Ohio if Law enforcement stops me I must declare at once my LTCF and handgun immediately. Are their any other restrictions I should be aware of thanks

Re: Pa to Indiana
I just got back from Indiana, and I carried the entire way. You're right, only stipulation is you have to inform if you get stopped in Ohio. I don't know if any other restrictions in the other states. I did print out the Handgun.US forms for WV, OH, and IN and carry them with me.
If you're concerned about masking, no one that I encountered in any of those states cares if you're wearing one or not. If you've never made the drive before try to stay out of the downhill/uphill run around Somerset at night. There's a lot of construction going on and the lanes are narrow. Watch your speed, I'd say no more than 9 above any posted limit on the highways and you should be good. I made it across Ohio in almost exactly 3 hours coming home.
There is construction on I70 in Ohio, but I think they're only working at night. On the way back be wary of the construction signs through Columbus, It's very easy to miss a lane change and end up on I71 heading north.Rules are written in the stone,

You will be fine in Indiana, lived in Indy for a stint, nobody cares. *No gun* signs have no force of law (trespass), and you can enter an establishment serving alcohol. Watch the hospital rules, they can be sticklers.
Resistance to tyrants is obedience to God.

Prayers for your wife. I recommend as others said to review each state on www.handgunlaw.us but the basics have been covered already.
