Default You guys have it great in PA

I , as a Marylander am one of the lucky few that have a carry permit. I use it in accordance with the law to obtain my PA LTCF. I reapplied yesterday and received an email less than 30 minutes later that it is ready, head up and get it after you make an appointment.

Maryland is 90 days and MAYBE you will get it.

I love my neighbors to the North.

What's the trick to get a Maryland permit? Is it possible for a non-resident?

There is no trick and Maryland does not distinguish between resident and non-resident. I personally know a PA resident with a MD permit.

Just fall into one of the categories and bam permit issued.

Do you own a business? Do you do business in MD? If yes and yes you would with 99% confidence you would obtain a permit.

...and yet, you say you are one of the lucky few. I'm confused.

I own a business, well 3 of them. I am lucky, lucky for being my own boss, lucky for being able to hang out with my wife and lucky that i qualify for my freedom. Even though i created my luck i am still lucky.

And here I am unhappy we need a permit at all.
Let's not forget there are still species of tropical penguins living in the Galapagos.
