Instead of making people zip tie guns at the entrance, they should make people walk through something like a car wash.

At $40 more than on-line, I still have to pay a local FFL to handle transfer that knocks out most if not all of the difference.

What got me at the last couple shows was that the couple things of which I had an interest were hundreds over MSRP...but I understand that each dealer can set their own prices. That being said, hundreds over PLUS a credit card fee. I understand that the CC companies take a percentage, but combined with the high prices I just lost interest.

On the fence about Oaks this time around.

trust me guys, I get it! I comparison shop all of the time! I totally agree with purchasing online if the price in front of you is hundreds more. however, I have seen some real cheap asses walk away from a deal over $1. literally over $1, after just spending $12 to get in the door. the guys that stand in front of a table for 20 minutes with their phone in their hand doing internet searches are being ignorant. they block the view of potential buyers, and most of the time they show you the internet ad where they can get it for $15 less and ask you to price match. if you want to internet shop, stay at home and do tha tin your underpants on your couch. if you want to purchase items in front of you, do your research before you come to the show. ive never been a fan of buying blind when it comes to firearms. and really, at this point if you want to wait an extra week or two, pay shipping and taxes, then pay a transfer fee to try and save $20.....then you need to re-evaluate your sense of time and what it is worth. now, on the other hand it is definitely worth waiting a week or two to save a couple hundred bucks.....if the website actually has it in stock when it says it does. ive purchased many items over the net to save some cash only to have it get lost in shipping for 6 weeks. at the end of the day, I should have just paid the extra $50 to save myself the headaches
