Default Plaintiffs Needed for Follow up Philadelphia LTCF Lawsuit

Philadelphia has been sued at least twice in the last year for their administration of their LTCF application process, and we're going to make it a trifecta.

Philadelphia is suggesting that their agreement with Firearms Policy Coalition allows them to take more than the 45 days allowed to issue or refuse a permit. They claim that as long as they "approve" an applicant in that time, and give them an appointment several months later, that's the same as "issuing". While we all know that isn't what FPC agreed to, this is Philadelphia, and they'd be happy to argue the sky was pink if it advanced their anti-gun agenda.

As a result, Gun Owners of America is going to finish what we started last October, and FORCE the City to comply with § 6109.

However, in order to accomplish this, we need Plaintiffs! We need individuals who have applied for their LTCF and are waiting to be issued their permits. If you or a family member have applied-- or want to apply-- for your LTCF in Philadelphia, please get in touch with me at val.finnell@gunowners.org.

Philadelphia isn't allowed to redefine words. They aren't allowed to ignore the law. However, we can't fight them without you.

    ^^^^ what he said.

I am curious how Philadelphia thinks an agreement with a private organization negates State law?

Because this agreement has completely stopped all the shootings in Philthy.

Thanks to everyone who responded. For now, we are good on plaintiffs. If we need you to step in, I will post a follow up.
