Re: Recommendations for a non tactical range bag?
That Bostitch tool bag can be found under Stanley and at least 2 other brand names.
There are others that may have better compartments. This one is pretty basic.I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

Maybe you just want a "normal" range bag, then a well made backpack to carry it in.

Look at the Swiss Gear backpacks. That's what I see a lot of corporate people use. They have a lot of compartments and can be found cheap at Walmart or similar stores.

Re: Recommendations for a non tactical range bag?
Midway has a lot of range bag options. I use the two pistol bag for most range trips. https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1018167629
When I need more capacity I occasionally use the competition bag. https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1020438366
But before I bought a range bag I used my old Lands End briefcase from the office. It even had a corporate logo which was nerdy as hell. But it served well for one or two pistols and gear. https://www.landsend.com/products/le...63,43321,43556

Re: Recommendations for a non tactical range bag?
Probably helps free up some range lanes too when they see you coming. Wear some short shorts and I bet the whole place packs it up.
To the OP, check out Vertx. Wife has a backpack by them that looks normal but does have some internal MOLLE capabilities. I forget the model but was around $125 I think, w/o extras. Some models were less, some more. Quality seems very good

Re: Recommendations for a non tactical range bag?
I got one similar to this bag. LA Police Gear. So many pockets that you won't believe all the things you can fit in the thing. There's also a smaller size.

Re: Recommendations for a non tactical range bag?
I used messenger bags from Timbuk2 when I needed to look "professional". They make backpacks as well. Good quality, many pockets and a "grayman" appearance. You can get them customized so that beautiful rainbow bag is possible, NTTAWWT.
If you want hipster on the outside and Tacticool on the inside: Gray Man Tactical. I never owned anything from them, they popped up in a search and filled the use case. Albeit a bit over the top.
It sounds like you are seeking the Gray Man look, here are some thoughts on that approach. Caveat Emptor.Let me help you out. Which way did you come in?

Re: Recommendations for a non tactical range bag?
I've had a 5.11 RUSH12 bag for about eight years. That's one tough bag. I wouldn't hesitate to buy one of their COVRT18 bags for something a little less conspicuous. Those G.P.S. bags look nice, but they are heavy. Add the weight of some guns and ammo and you may as well just get a proper range bag.
