Default Some help with a scope for a 50 cal with 30 MOA rail

For some reason the unfired AR50 I purchased had a rather costly scope on it which cannot adjust as the AR50 has a 30 MOA rail on it,
Im thinking I need a scope that has a 80 MOA total adjustment, BUT frankly this is out of my knowledge base and need some help,
Im hoping to keep the cost under $1k as at this time I really cant go to the (Nice) scopes and frankly don't feel the need, I was able to pick up ammo this past year at quite reasonable prices,
At this time the scope mount is actually a high quality mount for 30mm tube scopes,
Looks like the PO had more $ than sense,
Please help direct me to some scopes or the proper parameters to look for,
Thank you all for sharing your knowledge,

You should have about 6 to choose from, how deep are your pockets? Nightforce, Leupold and Vortex have good models and I think there are some more expensive names out there but I can't remember how their spelled or what their names are. Swarovski? Schmidt Bender?

As far as MOA goes, Am I thinking correctly? Is a 80 MOA scope a normal thing?
    Or 70 MOA?
Ive really no clue on the matter and have been doing some reading, I would like to make only one choice and have it be reasonable CORRECT,

I'm less help on the adjustment front, but dont forget the ass whooping anything on a .50 is gonna take. When I was weighing options for my Lapua, stoutness was #1 goal and there were only a few "cheaper," quality offerings I was considering. Sightron Siii ($500-1k), SWFA Supersniper fixed power (16x I think? Cheapest option I saw at ~$350), a used Nightforce (pushing the budget but possible), and Athlon (pick your line...Argos, Midas, Cronus, Ares, etc).

Ultimately went Athlon Midas for their warranty on big calibers and price ($500, demo unit more or less)...too soon to say long term performance, but so far so good. Sightron was a close #2 for me.

The Accurate Shooter website is good resource overall, and has some great classifieds for new and used scopes. Cameraland has new and demo deals at times, had good luck with them previously.

$700 Leupold Mark 4 4.5x15x50, good sale/markdown. I get confused by Leupolds models but think this is a pretty good one
