I thought about getting a uPIN but doubt that its worth it, and really dont want to mess around with BATFE. Not even sure it’ll make a difference with PICS

Most LGS don't let you leave during pics. Guy told me today if I leave it gets cancelled. I'm not sure if this is law or just policy but quite a few practice this.

Not been my experience. In fact with 4-5-6 hour wait times becoming common it getting to be common. Sucks when you*re 3 hours away from home. I got approvals twice in the shops last 5 minutes of operation. They were suggesting I come back next day. Revolvers both times, one single action. I guess it*s working because I really don*t want to buy anything anymore.

I was told by a nice lady gun shop owner who has long wait times for her personal purchases that those numbers don*t make a difference. There is a guy about my age with my name who beats his wife among other dirtbaggery. I forget how I found out but I was always going to the operator, the wait times nowadays is way off the chain.

Theoretically my FFL has my drivers license on file and just calls me when it*s done. I could then just sign and date it after the check is finished and I then come pick up the weapon I ordered. This is all just theoretical.

I havent had one go thru without an operator since last April when i bought my LCR9. Traded it in June ‘20 and they put me in research for a week.

Now it just goes directly to an operator :shrug:
