Default Looking for PPS43 Barrel and Experiences Rebuilding PPS43

    Hi guys,

I recently bought a parts kit for a PPS43. I wanted to hear from you on any experiences or insights you have on these. I’m also looking for a barrel to fit, preferably a 9mm barrel, but haven’t had any luck. If you know of any spots that have these available or any you would like to sell, please let me know. I want to get this piece of history shooting again.

    Thanks!

You need to join the weapons guild forum. Detailed write ups are there.

Pike arms had 10” 9mm barrels in stock last week for building a pistol or SBR. Make sure you buy the one for the pps43 front trunnion inner diameter and not the one for the pps43c pistol. Sign up for notifications to know when they will be back in stock. I signed up in January and got the notification last week.

I will be welding mine up as an SBR once I get some other projects done.

My first instinct is to try Sarco in Easton.

Most barrels for popular niche builds (pps43, uzi, galil, etc) have been out of stock everywhere because barrel makers have been cranking out all the AR barrels they can, or haven’t been able to get materials. Things finally seem to be coming around.

Thanks a lot guys for the info. I put myself on the waitlist for the barrels from Pikearms. I also visited Sarco yesterday, and they didn*t have any. I*ll update the thread once I hear back from Pikearms.

Good luck Josh on the project! Let me know how it goes.

Freedom machines on weapons guild makes the best semi trigger. KP also makes one and you can email him to get on the semi bolt mods waiting list.
