Default The Board - Thoughts from the NRA Trial Part 8

Ousting the “Gang of 4” (LaPierre, Meadows, Cotton and Lee) is just the start. The Board needs to be reduced to a manageable size (25 seems about right for an organization this size). The Nominating Committee needs to be completely revamped. Governance experience and ability need to move to the forefront. Activism, name recognition and shooting skill, while interesting, are not essential. NRA Voting members need to know how a Board candidate intends to govern and oversee management so that they can make a knowledgeable choice and actually vote.

Thanks for what you're doing, Frank and hope you make it. Your vision looks good to me.

Board has no say. Neal Knox was right. Wayne is a pos. Should go to jail.

Gun owners don't vote. They are too busy. Until Wayne La Pierre is fired people will not contribute nor believe the NRA is credible or viable. I am a member of 40 years and I won't contribute another dime until La Pierre is removed. NRA has been reconstituted in Texas and it's time for some major changes or it will die.

From testimony, there are over 2,000,000 voting members. Only just over 110,000 voted in the 2020 Board election.

Only one change needs to be made. Wayne is a pos and needs to go. Well that and people like Hammer who graph on and suck up the money supporting him. He was a bad seed from the start. Fooled me for a long time. After the last 14 months I will not believe in anyone or anything anymore. Actions not words. Greedy bastards hide behind silver tongues.
