I posted about the financial burdens.

I want to post again about the ATF trying to infringe on honest citizens so they (ATF) don’t have to work hard.
Not sure the BoR had that clause in it..

I wrote up about a 4 paragraph breakdown for them not cursing or getting angry just applying facts and reasonable explanations. To which they are required to respond if enough people do the same they may not be able to keep up and it may very well get pulled like the pistol braces. That being said do not let up everyone needs to go at this even if you disagree on a portion of it as a whole this affects every single one of us.

Wrote my own reply in addition to sending the GOA form version.

I fully oppose the proposed rule amendments to the definition of frames or receivers.

The Second Amendment of the United States guarantees the right to bear arms and to protect our families. The attempt to change the definition of a lower receiver to regulate it violates the 2A rights of every American.

The claims, especially made by PA Attorney General Shapiro who lost a case in court when he attempted the same act of defining lower receiver as finished firearms, is that criminals are using these kits to build a homemade firearm.
    https://www.enblocpress.com/news/pa-...s-as-firearms/

The numbers being cited are dishonest as documented here:
    https://www.washingtontimes.com/news...-claims-ghost/

Criminals are not taking the time and effort to mill and assemble their own firearms, which is a process that is time consuming (although politicians lie and claim it's done in parking lots) and the cost to finish a project is substantially more than the cost of a factory-built firearm.

Aside from the fact that home-built firearms are used nearly exclusively by law-abiding Americans who are hobbyists and protecting their families. Any limits placed on the ability to own a firearm, whether purchased or built by a law-abiding citizen is unconstitutional. Laws already exist that prohibit convicted criminals from possessing firearms, and the ability to own a firearm is lost upon committing a felony. No restrictions on law-abiding citizens are necessary, the existing law simply needs to be enforced, which it's not as evidenced by the fact that Hunter Biden has not been charged in lying on a 4473 application.

Or his an incident where his firearm was disposed of in a public trash can.
    https://www.nationalreview.com/news/...cident-report/

Many other criminals are not being charged in gun offenses to lower punishments, which is a huge problem in cities like Philadelphia where a corrupt DA is letting criminals off the hook on gun charges:
    https://www.inquirer.com/news/philad...-20210330.html

And in other cities where violent ANTIFA and BLM rioters are having all charges dropped, leaving their records clean to obtain firearms legally despite assaulting people including police, causing property damage and putting lives of the public in great danger.
    https://libertyunyielding.com/2021/0...m-in-portland/

And of course, the Supreme Court decision in D.C. vs. Heller CLEARLY guarantees an individual right to possess firearms independent of service in a state militia and to use firearms for traditionally lawful purposes, INCLUDING SELF DEFENSE IN THE HOME. Any ruling by the ATF with the intentions to ban any type of firearm by law-abiding Americans is unconstitutional.

Just submitted my comment. Yes it was long winded, several paragraphs long, and included the ATF rule number ATF 2021R-05.

It's absolutely abhorrent to me that I even had to write such a document. Telling the government why I should be able to keep my property and why I should continue to have my god given rights. Fucking disgusting.

    Like my wife's name?

Good idea though to double up on submittals to make sure the message is sent loud and clear.

    Flood them.

Hey, the Dems do it...we're losing because they're better at organizing and fighting political battles. Yes we have day jobs, but we need to step up our game.

Example: 50,000 signatures to remove pro-2A and Trump supporter Marjorie Taylor-Green because they're offended by her words and support for the 45th President. If we were so easily-offended, we'd have petition for the removal of EVERY elected Democrat...who actually commit crimes and incite violence with their words.
