I've now tried like 3 times to leave a comment over the last couple of weeks - how they hell are you supposed to do it? I can search the current comments and view them, but no clue how to leave a comment.

12 days left to comment to stop this rule. Don't delay!

Buying many gun parts will require FFL transfers if this goes through. Home building will be a huge pain and additional cost.

FFLs will be required to keep your 4473s FOREVER instead of destroying them after 20 years. This amounts to a permanent gun registry (registry precursors) that can be collected whenever the government decides it's time.

Speak up and fight this today!

And just a reminder, the Soros, Bloomburg, Brady, Gifford, Mommy groups are still out there in force...

    ----------
Dear Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms,

I am writing in support of the ATF's proposed rule (Docket No. ATF 2021R-05) that would help stem the rise of ghost guns.

This proposed rule is a win for public safety and a loss for any criminals or extremists who wanted to buy untraceable guns with no background check and no questions asked. Ghost guns may be the scariest and fastest-growing gun safety threat in the country, allowing anyone to make an untraceable weapon in less than an hour. Additionally, they have emerged as a weapon of choice for violent criminals, gun traffickers, dangerous extremists, and other people legally prohibited from buying firearms. I urge the ATF to finalize this rule and protect public safety.

    Sincerely,
    Mae Mortel

One of the videos linked to the link you provided lost credibility by featuring the individual that made some false statement in regards to Paul Harrel. Harrel felt compelled to respond to the critter with a video setting the record straight.

I saw who was being featured in the video, recognized the jerk and stopped watching the video and left the rest of the article unread.

As stated it is a good "read" because it clarifies what is going on with how to comment to the ATF without getting one's comments tossed. If you scroll down on the read further both links are there handy to go direct to the ATF "rule" pages. Once on the "rule" page you can submit your comment by clicking on the Green "Submit a formal comment" link for frames and receivers. The Brace page comment section opens automatically. Put in the docket numbers in with your comments for each(It's a government thing). Document numbers: For the Pistol braces * ATF 2021R-08 and for the Frames/Receivers * ATF 2021R-05.
