Brandishing. How is that defined in a legal, PA context?

Pa has no definition or law in reference to brandishing.

Depending on the circumstances, one could be cited for disorderly conduct.

Is there any reason that this would not qualify for transport through enemy territory?

That will work, but it screams GUNNNN!!!!!

Think inexpensive metal toolbox with a chain for securing it to a seat rail or other hunk of car.

Camouflage first, minor security second, evidence of theft / malfeasance third.

And never carry anything you cannot afford to replace.

The wording on the permission slip states PENNSYLVANIA LICENSE TO CARRY FIREARMS. It does not say anything about concealment.

You need that permission slip to carry a loaded firearm concealed or to transport it, which means have it in your vehicle. That's the short version, the long version can be found here:

    https://www.legis.state.pa.us/WU01/L...18/00.061..HTM

§ 6106. Firearms not to be carried without a license.

    (a) Offense defined.--

    (1) Except as provided in paragraph (2), any person who carries a firearm in any vehicle or any person who carries a firearm concealed on or about his person, except in his place of abode or fixed place of business, without a valid and lawfully issued license under this chapter commits a felony of the third degree.

    (2) A person who is otherwise eligible to possess a valid license under this chapter but carries a firearm in any vehicle or any person who carries a firearm concealed on or about his person, except in his place of abode or fixed place of business, without a valid and lawfully issued license and has not committed any other criminal violation commits a misdemeanor of the first degree.

I haven't seen anything anywhere that states a need to conceal the firearm, the license just states that you have permission to carry concealed as long as you stay within the confines of the laws of the government(s) governing your location at the time. (Federal, State and Local). Keep in mind that property rights must be observed as well as laws governing transport and concealment. (Property owners can prohibit possession of firearms on their property even if you are otherwise in compliance with federal, state and local laws).

I don't have a short temper, I just have a quick reaction to bullshit.

I know the OP asked about handgun, and I may be completely mis-remembering, but isn't there a whole other set of rules/criteria about long arms in vehicles?
