I was banned from Guardian Training Center for Life tonight

So Me and a buddy was banned from Guardian Training Center tonight after we both honestly fucked up.... I agree there were things to address but the punishment clearly didn't fit the crime

Strike 1



It was my first there at GTC... I walked in with my rifle over to the counter and I tell the guy "I'm here to shoot" and the some other guy with blue facial hair comes outta nowhere and said "hey your shotgun is out" and the guy behind the counter tells him yeah but its in a scabbard but he asked to see my shotgun and quickly points out that the trigger housing is "exposed"

Now.. that's where I fucked up. I AGREE THAT I FUCKED UP... I didn't even have time to react to be honest so I then tell him that "it wasn't loaded".... now I honestly don't know if he took what I said as I was "arguing with him" or being "disrespectful" but he tells me I think we're done here as in... he's putting me out... for life! My buddy who is sitting down in the waiting area is asking what's going on? confused and I'm like... I guess I'm getting "outta here" because I fucked up but then the guys asked me "have you read the rules?" and I said no.. first time here but some other guy said something to him and he decided to give me a break and then gave me the rules and disclosure and all that and tells me.... I'm paraphrasing here... "me saying its not loaded" its one of those code words that "I'm an idiot" sand then tells me to go over there and read the rules and if I had any questions ask him... so there's my strike one. I felt low that I made a mistake like that... I agree that it wasn't safe and I told myself there are things I really needs to shape up so it doesn't happen again. So I made sure I read... all the rules because I thought he was going to test me on them... My whole issue with GTC about the safety issue was... it was clearly a teachable moment here... but instead of telling me to get my shit together.... they go straight to "get the fuck out for life" so not only did I felt low and like an idiot (to a degree.. rightfully so) those guys were jerks and I jus felt unwelcomed there

but hey I'm thinking its over... lets just shoot and try to have fun but then my buddy fucks up

No steel core ammunition... So while I'm getting my ammunition inspected and getting my ear and eye pro situated..... this is what my friend is saying what happened
