PAFOA Obama-voters especially, please "Share Your Vision" with Obama re RKBA
We should remind Obama of his campaign promise to respect the Second Amendment, now that he has been elected:
http://www.change.gov/page/s/yourvision
Obama personally may be very anti-gun, but he is an astute politician and he would hesitate to do something that would cost his party in the 2010 midterm elections. Please keep your message positive for best effect. (I'm sure we can all think of a few nice things to say about Obama even if we disagree with all his policies. Telling Obama's staffers that Obama is an America-hating socialist will just cause those staffers to disregard whatever else you say.)

I think there's enough of these threads going around, and really...no one can answer EXACTLY what he'll do but him.
So until then, hope for the best plan for the worst and keep your wits.

As a poll watcher I saw the local drunk section 8 girl come to vote. She was so proud and drunk that she was voting the first time. And she was voting Obama. She was talking loudly in line about that Obama was going to increase her social security. The constable just asked her to be quite on behalf of the judge-of-elections. The judge being a hardcore dem..said I hope it doesn't come this!STOP PELOSI www.BoehnerForSpeaker.com

I spoke to a friend of mine earlier about this. He is a Dem, and used to be a little involved with the party.
I told him to please write and ask Mr. Obama to concentrate on the issues he had voted for him for. Financial reform, healthcare, foreign policy, ect.... and to not waste his political capital and energy pursuing a anti-gun agenda.
My freind is moderate on gun rights, but he agrees that urging the new prez to concentrate on other issues is a good thing. He believes he has bigger fish to fry.
Kaos,
This thread is not the same as all the others, the other are all about "why" and blame and who is pissed at who.
This is urging are Dem friends to let their pro-2A voices be heard in their party.

If the anti-gunner have the votes in congress to pass AG legislation there is no limit to how far they would go. The key point is do they have the votes now or would it take the right kind of political crisis to get the addition AG votes in congress for passage, such as what happened in the late 1960’s with the unfortunate assignations of several political leaders and race riots in big cities caused massive gun control everywhere.
I pray there is no political motivated gun violence for any reason against ANYONE including the President elect to justify any more gun restrictions on law abiding citizens.

What if Obama is true to his campaign promises, one of which included a well regulated militia, AKA Citizen Defense Force, equally armed as the military as he promised.
anyone see the lawyer like language and an ability to apply it to the 2nd amendment?

Here we are again. THe OP posts a link to get YOUR voice to the president elect and some choose to make paranoid, beaten to death comments instead of doing something about it.
Any other president (or elect) ever make it that easy to get your voice out.
Weather you voted for him or not, he's about to be your President. Seriously stop and think. What do you think is gonna work better?
Writing a letter telling him how wrong you think he is.. or writing a respectful letter of support, and stating your position on the issue?
Ive said it before, dont let pride get in the way of a win.
