Re: Past time for Wayne to go at the NRA
Seems we're in day 10 or so of the bankruptcy hearing. I'm kinda slow and just catching up on it now.
Doesn't seem allot of info coming out mainstream. Member Frank here has posted some of it here.
More than I've seen on the frontline.
Well if you're inclined, here's a blog posting day by day and some other opinions: https://nraindanger.wordpress.com/blog/
Made me go WTF.
Thing like: "NRA has no functioning treasurer? Yes. NRA better off without Spray? Don*t know."
" Process for liquidation of assets. Art 10 and 11, sec. 1109, any proposed distribution assets must be to organization with substantially similar purposes. Court must consider members* interests. What NY AG anticipate doing with NRA guns, museum collections? That*s a court function."It ain't what they call you, it's what you answer to.

Here's the Trial summary from the NRA in Danger blog https://nraindanger.wordpress.com/20...tcy-testimony/
"...The gun at my side means that I cannot be forced, only persuaded...It doesn't limit the actions of those who would interact with me through reason, only the actions of those who would do so by force."

Re: Past time for Wayne to go at the NRA
I'd be happy with a much less effective "fund-raiser", so long as the monies weren't being wasted on such an extreme scale. Bringing in big bucks means nothing when they are going towards personal luxuries, instead of the efforts being touted as the organizational mission.

Re: Past time for Wayne to go at the NRA
I post the following as FYI.
"Salary: Wayne LaPierre's NRA salary starts at $985,000 per year".

Re: Past time for Wayne to go at the NRA
As a relatively new gun owner, all of my donations go to GOA. They may not be as big as the NRA, but I feel like my money is spent more effectively right now.
The NRA has done so much good for the country, I hope they straighten things out.
