Weekly camera check. Interesting. Looks like the racks are still growing a bit.

Right now, This guy has my interest.

Although either he or his brother would be Ok.

Both appear to have a 9th small point on the same beam ( Legal point, not sure yet)

Now their cousin, also a 9 but small # 9 point on other beam and rack not as wide.

This years freezer candidates also has another nontypical oddity. It's not very clear but looks like 4 on one and maybe 2 or 3 in the non typical side.

there also a legal 6 and 5 back there. Neither with brow tines but "3 up" as per regs in my area.

    I'm having some fun here.

They will mostly crawl in a hole as is common when we get closer to early archery.

Along with the deer, I've seen 3 fox and a yote over the last few days. I love checking those cams. I put another one out this afternoon.
I think either a camera or 2 are dying or the SD cards are crapping out.

salt block is gone as is the stump. I moved a couple cameras along the trail

I placed the tree stand ladder and checked the lag screws which seem to be ok.

I need to shoot the bow a bit more.

My friends all wait till the day before to get ready.

I saw a nice looking buck, looked like he was in felt, along I-40 in TN on Monday. It's terrible that you just shoot those beautiful animals and eat them!

Thanks, I'm starting to feel bad already. Think I'll make another batch of jerky so I don't have to see the meat in the freezer.

If God didn't want us to eat animals why are they made out of meat?

Funny, very funny! What I used to do was show my canines to the Asian Indians and tell them that God gave me these for a reason and I don't intend to let him down.
