Hey everyone- anyone found or bought any new knives lately? I was thinking of getting a new SOG line knife but wanted feedback from others first. Let me know!

I*ve had a SOG flash Tanto for several years now , no complaints, holds its edge and easy to deploy.

I've carried a SOG Mini X-ray Vision daily for almost 15 years now. Still opens lightning fast, like Zeke said holds an edge good. I have looked at others, but I like mine so I stick with it. They will sharpen it for free if you send it to them. Did that once, realized I can do better after getting it back, without removing as much material. I lost it one time while working on MIL's car. She found it 3 weeks later behind the driver's seat. I was glad to get it back. Must have snagged on the a pillar when I got out and fell under the seat.

Certainly check out the linked knife thread.

I recently went through a few different manufacturers looking for my EDC folding pocket knife. I went from Spyderco to Al Mar to Emerson and then back to Spyderco. I cannot recommend a paramilitary 2 highly enough.

I also carry a clinch pick fixed blade daily, and think many many more people should do the same.

I took a look at the clinch pick. Very innovative! Did you sharpen the main edge as well or do you just stick to reverse edge techniques?

Reverse edge only for me. I’ll look for some of the videos by the designer to link. When you see the intended use with large muscle movements in close it makes a lot of sense.

Knife violence is getting to be a big problem. Why would anyone need a pointy knife that's long enough to hit a human organ? We need commons sense knife controls and expanded background checks for knife buyers.
