Default I lost 2 pistols today

    Well. Somewhat misleading.
The Allegheny Co. Sherriffs Dept had a satellite LTCF event today at North Fayette Twp.

After quite a few years, my daughter got her LTCF.

Now, the 9mm S&W Shield I bought her and the .380 Ruger LCP hrer boyfriend got her are hers to carry.

I suppose Ill lose some 9mm practice and carry ammo as well.

Good that this thread hadn't turned out as the title suggested!

    You did fine.

Back when my son finally came of age, the passing on of "his" guns actually halved the contents of my safe. Some he had actually saved to buy, and some I bought, but I was happy to have him continue his interest, and to have an excuse to go get some new stuff for myself.

Always happy to see when a woman gets her ltcf. I was excited when my wife finally got hers. Pm me if she would like an iwb holster. I can make minimalist belt clip or fabriclip type. I don't have a holster business or anything I j just make them for friends for materials cost but have always said I'd make them no charge for women to encourage more to carry.

Oldest requested his 2 rifles that he won over the years...he's going on 19.

Savage Axis 7mm-08 and Ruger 10/22 M1 Carbine Tribute.

Funny thing is, we attend an annual Junior 22lr competition for the last 5 years (not last year tho due to the "pandemic")...1st 4 years, youngest won 1 rifle each time...Marlin 22 bolt, 10/22 M1 (2x 2 years in a row, felt bad that big brother hadn't won anything but throphies, so he let him claim the second Ruger) then a Savage Axis 7mm-08. 5th year, oldest won a matching Savage.

Both too young to legally own pistols yet...but give it time.

This is a common misunderstanding. My son "owned" pistols from the age of 10. I maintained custody and control of them until after he was 18.

Persons must be 21 to buy or receive a transfer through a federally licensed dealer, NOT to "own" or possess.

Sounds similar to my daughter, when she moved out she took her 10-22 with her. when the Covid/St George/BLM/ANTIFA riots and general disorder started. She was over for dinner on a Sunday night, I told her if she got her carry permit Id give her one of my pistols

She works in Lancaster city and was some unrest there,She went at lunch on Monday to the Sheriffs office, got her LTCF and showed up at the house as I came home from work....My LCP became hers that evening, She had been shooting it for years in the back yard and didn't even consider any of the others
