Hey 27, long time... hope all's well!

The piece I quoted of your post is also my prefs... I am happy to use the static ranges to sight-in and calibrate optics/etc.; yet, I feel like I'm not getting the practice I want. E.g.: I was there a few weeks ago and thought I could do 1R1s (don't judge, I was thinking it was within the rules). I was actively trying to *not* firing the reload mag's shot ASAP to abide by the 3 seconds rule... There was one other dude there, and old guy.... And he mentioned to me "don't let the cameras see you do that". I honestly thought I was fully compliant with the rules and it gave me pause. I mean, it was 0945 on a Wednesday... too. So... :/

So, being back in the area again and needing to train more regularly.... Where would you recommend? I've been to a few of CSC's Action Rifle shoots over the past 3 months, and that seems like the only time I can actually train as I want to there.

    These would be my recommendations:
    1. PMSC
    2. Greater Pitt Gun Club or Washington County Gun Club

We live out in Collier Twp and drive out to PMSC twice a month between April & November to be able to practice our defensive pistol (and shotgun now) skills like we need to in order to keep our skills up. A 50-55 minute drive each way, but worth it for us.
Tomorrow's battle is won during today's practice.

Maybe I need to consider that. CSC is just so damn close..... Like minutes. I can forget things or go home to "fix" something. Or... stop by "on the way home" to fire off a few mags when inclined. Bummer....

I am going to go to a General Membership Meeting (this it's this week) as maybe ask if there's scope to review some of this. Not looking to get into the personal-politics though.

Apparently it was due to an “insurance issue”…
