That may be (likely is) entirely true, but Phil's point is that there is a greater chance of having an appeal heard for a PICS problem than with a NICS problem. We (individually and as a group) have a stronger influence on the deciding party(s) at the state level than at the federal. Personally, I agree with his logic.

Perhaps a little education in the form of a letter to your state senator is in order. Point out the obvious to her...let her know law abiding aren't the issue( I am sure she knows). It might also help her understand why its about time this happens...and point to her the huge increases, month over month over month, in the NICS background checks. Tell her The People are speaking...

Again, it's Lisa Baker that we're worried about.

Keep encouraging her to join in and defend the Constitution.

Indeed. She's the big hurdle in the Senate.

Lot to do about nothing. This Bill is dead on arrival at the Governor's desk. The only way this ever passes is with the State House, Senate and Governor's Office in the hands of conservative Republicans.

It's valuable in the sense that we get a recorded vote and then know who is really with us and against us. It also sets us up for success the next time we do it. Always get a recorded vote.

    Email sent

Here’s to hoping this gets passed before July when I renew my LTCF. I wouldn’t mind not having to pay for another 5 year permission slip to exercise a Constitutional Right

    I know, I know....

Every single Rep and Senator could vote for this and as soon as it hits Wolf's desk: VETO!
