    Default Basement Waterproofing Contractor

Does anyone recommend a contractor to fix a leaky basement? I have a couple spots that always get water seeping in. It will need more than just sealing the walls. Probably drains and a sump along with sealing it and possibly some foundation repair. It would be nice to go off of more than a review on Google. Thanks.

I used I*m the Guy and am very happy with the finished product. I feel like they gave an honest assessment (could have said I needed more because of some foundation cracks, but just advised to keep an eye on it but they weren*t concerned). They tied the system into my existing sump pump, after being sure it could handle the water load, so I didn*t have to get another system.

Haven*t seen a spot of water since. Did have to go with a trench system.

They have since merged and are https://www.bakerswaterproofing.com/

I wound up doing the same thing in my basement. I went with Crawlspace Services of NE PA. They were about $500 cheaper than the next lowest quote. They also included trenching and burying about 150ft of drain pipe for the sump pump discharge.

Is your property sloping away from the house? A little grading can do wonders. When we moved in, I filled in a few low spots along the foundation and the problem went away.

I graded (pretty good angle too) away from my wall too - and it didn't change anything.

I know it's not the cause of every problem, but it's the best place to start.

I feel like the properties are in the middle of slope

That's why I think proper trenching and drainage is a must.
