My thoughts exactly, countersue for the legal fees, property damage, and lost wages AND mental anguish all of which was caused by the perp in the first place. Oh and maybe the cost of the ammo used

In America anyone can sue anyone for any reason, Does not make them right but many suits are settled out of court for fear of major awards !

My scummy ex-brother-in-law's scummy younger brother fell asleep at the wheel on a major interstate. Received significant injuries after he plowed into a semi truck parked fully on the shoulder. Not sure if truck had mechanical problems, or if trucker was taking a break. Regardless, scummy younger brother sued and got a settlement. Settlement paid his law school tuition.
