Another website said "$100-200 depending on the type of firearm". If true, I'd take that trade if a non-resident can participate.

Thought all handguns transferred in PA must go thru a licensed dealer with PICS check?

Correct, an FFL should be on site to transfer EVERY handgun and AR lower taken in to the P.D.

The police should also be subjected to PICS checks and paying transfer fees like the rest of us.

I remember Upper Darby cops were selling them to a notoriously crooked shop and back to the streets.

A few years ago I turned in 3 old beat up .22 rifles and one didn't have a bolt, One rusted shut, ECT, I had bought them from a flea market for $5 each,
I got a $200 grocery store gift card for each, So $600 was nice,
The rifles were no pun intended (shot) and were beyond use,,,
Typically its $100 to $200 per item,
Im thinking now about a crappy G&H green stamp .22 I have now which locks up no matter what you do, It was given to me years ago,

Not necessarily. Many are privately funded.

Some are now requiring them to be in working condition. I have a 22 that a guy gave me that is a pile of rust. Just waiting for the right buy back.

Someone should tell stonekatrina76 about this. Maybe she could take a ride up from Florida.

Come to think of it I have about a half dozen guns I could part with. One that was $50 and five that were $99, Hi-Points.
