Is a Mac-10 SMG considered an SBR?
I was just wondering... I purchased a Mac 10 and I was wondering with the wire folding stock on the back... does the stock make it an SBR? Or does that not matter because it*s a SMG? I was curious... Hopefully it comes in by Christmas !!

Re: Is a Mac-10 SMG considered an SBR?
It's not consider an SBR it's a " machine gun" assuming the one you bought is select fire and not "semi only" . Either way you get a tax stamp. However in PA it is considered a " firearm" (AKA handgun) therefore if you want to sell it the buyer needs to send in the form to ATF wait for approval, then you have to take it to a SOT FFL holder to do a PICs check before the gun can be transferred.

If its a full auto, its a machine gun and could have any size barrel. How much did you pay?
I sold mine about 8 years ago for 4k.

Re: Is a Mac-10 SMG considered an SBR?
And that would require a Form 4, right? So OP/buyer could be waiting several months?
If an out of state seller, wouldn't that require 2 transfers? One from the seller to the dealer, and then from the dealer to the buyer?
