Control of Recoil
I had this thought. 1/2" extension to the bottom of the trigger for the index finger support to rest and control recoil? This would have to be done at the trigger manufactured.

Re: Control of Recoil
If so, there are some manufacturers already doing something like it, on some models. Not an extension, but a small lip, to keep the support hand index finger in place on the FRONT of the trigger guard, to help control muzzle rise. The CZ P07 is a good example, with a lip and texturing on the front of the trigger guard.

Re: Control of Recoil
I doubt it would, not really different than finger grooves on the grip. A firm grip and pressure in the frontstrap of the guard should prevent movement or rubbing that would irritate, unlike certain triggers, which can irritate because you have to reduce the pressure to allow the trigger to move forward to reset.

Re: Control of Recoil
I think most people aren’t taking advantage of their support hand grip by placing more of the support hand palm against the grip so both hands are squeezing like you have pliers in each hand. This lets both hands do equal squeezing on the gun and better manages recoil. Also most seem to not be squeezing with both hands enough in general.
