Consistent and repeatable recoil is better than a flat gun that doesn't track with utmost stability. Recoil management is not about a flat gun, but being able to track the sights easily with speed.

And that is precisely why Bullseye competitors make the effort to find and train for their "natural grip" and "natural sight alignment". Once found the front sight remains centered in the rear sight notch and there's no need to flex the wrist left-right to realign the sights. It works with a one-hand bullseye grip of a two-hand "combat" or "whatever you want to call it" grip. Once practiced you'll find you can ride the recoil and transition from target to target while resetting your trigger for the next shot and KNOW your sights are where they're needed.
