Yup, supply and demand. Cheaper-Than-Dirt can only sell so much .9mm at $1+ per round before people stop buying it.

I can still recall the sting of paying about $.060 / round for Federal .308 premium HPBT match for several precision rifles courses I attended back in the day. Charging $1.00 / round for 9mm? What a revolting development.

Funny you mention that. I got sick and tired of doing just that so I wrote a price list,
down and posted it to my board, no more half day jobs for the price of a half day.
Now I catch myself cutting people breaks because I feel bad for them.
What a asshole.

The other thing I was doing was barter. If my client worked for a company that made a product or offered something I could use...I would ask to throw that in as part of the price. I have a basement full of tampons and thongs....just kidding.

I would give those who were honest and respectful a break...if the job time and aggravation factor was minimal.
