Default New to Me W German P226

Been keeping an eye out and found this at Morgantown yesterday. Not a safe queen, but a decent find I thought for $600. I guess everyone wants a Glock or an AR.

Some wear, marks on the frame. Steel mag base plate is a little bent. Box doesn't match. Seller told me it was a NJ State Police gun. Box doesn't match. Kind of surprised they even kept the boxes if it was a police gun, but may make sense since it doesn't match. Or someone just had a box? Regardless, obligatory pics. I've been watching worse condition guns on GB go for $750.

Yep, that's a mighty fine weapon. I love mine. 9 or 40? SRT trigger?

9mm standard DA/SA. And the box isn't even close. Gun is KE 1994. Box is U 114, like 1984. Maybe that has value?

I very well might be worth a few bucks if you can connect with the owner of the matching piece.

Great looking pistol. Seems like a good price too, especially in this day and age. I love my P226, feels great and shoots great. Although mine originated in N.H.

I'd throw the box on Gunbroker and recoup $50+

I don't have one but I've shot one several times. I liked it. Good score.

A lot of buyers of guns that intend to "flip" the piece will buy a box on Ebay, etc or already have a box for the piece they are going to sell just to up the price a bit. Irregardless of the box it came with, that is a very nice handgun you picked up and at a gun-show no less! Congrats!!!
