What a time to be alive! Sounds similar to my experiences in Lebanon and Northumerland county. Encks is on bare bones for guns and ammo, maybe a dozen handguns, and the same for long guns....and they used to pack the house. Shydas wasn't great last time I was there, but they did have a decent gun inventory and some over priced mainstream ammo (priced in line with market conditions). Richland was excessively heavy on shotguns, few rifles, and fewer handguns. Gators is usually my go to and they do have some guns and ammo, but all at much higher prices. Hell Laucks was the most normal, they had most of their usual stuff, albeit at current prices.

you missed claytons, classic, and bunker; 2 of which are very close to tanners. with the exception of auger, i do a classic/ clayton/ bunker/ tanners run fairly often and in a 2hr window.

    Been to your first three.

Tanner's is great but every visit it's been so packed I don't want to bother.

Johnston's is a long time favorite. Bought some ammo and a soft case recently and I'll be headed back to pick up a Mossberg I had shipped there. My local go to shop.

Mike's is within walking distance and I wouldn't go in even for free ammo.

I've never been to clayton's or the bunker. I've heard good things about both. I can't believe I forgot classic pistol though. It isn't like i have never been there. I bought a limited edition stainless cz75 there. I semi regrettably sold it a few years later.

If you are making the trip to Johnston's, auger precision is less than 5 minutes. It is on route 13 by the croydon post office and across the street from the 7-11. If you make it into bensalem, you've gone too far.

Also, if you are in that area, dog and bull has decent food if you don't mind the questionable service. Sometimes it is good. Sometimes it isn't.

I go to Mike's roughly once a year. I've never bought anything there. But i have sold some milsurp to him. Oh scratch that. When i was brand new to shooting, i bought some 30.06 ammo there. Never used it. It was some weird Russian stuff. I gave it away with some federal 30.06 I sold.

There are two Bunker locations. The original is in Warminster a few miles from Tanner's. The new location is on Butler Ave in Chalfont. The bulk of their used guns are at the Chalfont location.

I've seen Auger on the map, I really should stop in sometime. Maybe later this week.

Yep Dog and Bull's is good and Gaetano's is right there as well, one of the better local cheesesteaks.

I stopped in Augers yesterday. I got 3/4 of a mind to go back for a rifle.

I don't think I've even been in 5 different shops over the course of the last 20 years or so.
I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!
