I had it up on YouTube for a few minutes, but then received a message that it had been removed because "it was too long"

It was only an hour and twenty minutes. I KNOW there are longer videos out there. Anyone have a clue what's going on? I still have the video saved locally.

ETA: problem resolved and new upload/processing complete.

I think you have to have a certain number of subs to host long videos.

I did some more digging.....having a "verified" account is required. That was basically establishing 2-factor authentication, so I completed that process and will upload again.

ETA: problem resolved and new upload/processing complete.
