June 7 2021 Harrisburg 2A Rally

So im definitely in for this, first timer here. Someone give me the rundown on how it all goes?

Show up to designated muster location (usually a parking garage). Walk as a group (or several groups) to capitol steps. Listen to speakers. After speakers, if you want, go into capitol to meet with your reps.

Sometimes there are pre-event breakfasts or post-event barbecues.

We need name tags this year....

PA2A will be providing 100 badges at the designated rally point with the PA2A logo printed on them, and sharpies to add your desired name/handle.

I got a hitch in my giddy up and can only walk so far.

Two items:

1) Cookout and get together as usual afterwards for all PAFOA folks: another thread will be started for that one.

2) Last year I chatted the police up in their gun storage room out back in the northeast corner. They claimed to have the capability to hold rifles in that room as well. It would be worth a call to verify, I think we may get more folks inside afterwards that way!

Maybe a block or two. Somebody can probably drive you over - but be warned, at the last one, the police blocked off the main street in front of the capitol so walking was mandatory.

Only food for thought here is anonymity with press/cameras/etc - I know I'm putting my tin foil hat on, but this last 6 months has proved that if the fed cronies want to start prosecuting people for things, ID is probably not a great idea.

I vote that we go back to the 2nd street garage (what we used June last year when Metcalfe bailed) that garage was MUCH nicer and easier to get in/out of and the walk really was only an extra block compared to the other one. Oh and I think a little cheaper too but I forget.
