Wheres the rally spot beforehand for this and what time should i plan to be there? Ill be there for sure, even if its only for a few hours (dog will be in tow, wearing her work harness with ifak and a spare carry pistol )...probably wnd up parking my butt in a chair in the shade too

Whats parking situation like? Free parking is preferred..

Rally begins at 10am, we should leave the garage for the Capitol steps around 9:30. Comms and parking/muster info below for those that want to stay in a group.

Comms:
The PA2A folks have created a dedicated Signal chat for the rally. Please ping either myself, alpacaheat or gnbrotz for an invite to the group.

We'll also still be using 2-way radios to stay in more immediate contact during the rally. Please PM me if you'd like the frequency details and can program your radios yourself. I will also bring a laptop w/ programming USB cable if anyone would like some help in the garage the morning of.


Parking:
We'll be mustering back in the River St Garage (where we went last June for the "cancelled" rally.) We'll meet at the highest open level that isn't the roof (for cover). Several of us will be there early, so you'll find us once you're in there.

Not really any such thing as free parking in Harrisburg, all of the parking garages are $15 up to 4 hours and $30 >4 up to 24 so you'll have to watch your time to minimize cost. Probably a good idea to bring your own chair.

I'll be at the rally, but likely won't be attending the after event. I'm an absolute sweaty mess in hot weather and I will likely be very uncomfortable at the conclusion of the official activities.
