Does anyone else get turned off by Metcalfe's selling it to 2A groups as a RTKBA event, but the promotion flyers are always Republican party talking points?
    Yes.

I also didn't see it advertised on social media at all this year.

He plugged it on his own page a couple of times, but I don't believe there was an "Event" page created.

Having it on a weekday is a problem. None of my gun buddies were willing to take the day off from work to drive 4 hours round trip and stand in the heat, so I crapped out too, sorry. I know people have said it was scheduled for a weekday so that people could talk to their reps, but the anti-gunners are already seizing on the low turnout. The weekday crap has to be reconsidered, one can contact their rep any other day of the year via e-mail, phone, or a local office. Regardless, hats off to those of you that went, thank you.

It was a weak showing for sure. The entire capitol area was absolutely empty. It was much cooler and less sun than I prepared for, but I still had to change my shirt in the parking garage after the event.

I couldn't make it I was selected for jury duty. Sat around for 6 hours and I was not picked for any of the trials - probably because I am white, old, retired military, have no problems owning firearms, am a firearms dealer, and believe the laws should be upheld and the guilty punished.

The one case was a young black girl, (19 at the time) speeding (80+ in a 55 zone), it was raining, lost control, hit another car and killed the driver and injured the passenger). Oh, and before you jump on me saying she was black, the defense attorney (middle aged white guy with slicked back hair and a man bun) made sure, several times, to note she is black.

Was Val Finnell and the GOA contingent there in force? He was pushing it hard and I got a number of emails saying how they would be there with lots a gun owners?

Val Finnell and the GOA contingent was there and a dozen or two PAFOA members with a hand full of others mixed in

Went into work at 5, so I could leave by 7:30-8:00. Walked into production line down, so no chance of leaving. A big thank you to all who attended to support our rights. Hopefully next year.
