Do local shops sell Polymer 80 frames?
Do local shops sell Polymer 80 frames? The three (in the Greensburg area) that I've visited don't. Just wondering if there are local stores who do.

I haven't seen any around me. Only ever saw them at gun shows.

Federal Firearms in Oakdale typically has a handful in stock. I think there were some in the case when I popped in yesterday. Little out of your way, but not too crazy far.

Re: Do local shops sell Polymer 80 frames?
I've seen a finished polymer 80 for sale at one gun shop which I thought was odd. Not sure who would want to buy one already built, it sort of defeats the purpose. Pretty sure I saw one at a Sportsman Store unfinished too but I think at an FFL you would need to do a background check just to buy the unfinished frame which is also pointless. The flea markets and stuff are just getting ready to start up soon, I know I've seen a dealer setup before at the Hazen flea market. Looks like that would be like a 1.5hr drive for you though - It's a huge flea market all outdoors, starts in May typically.

Re: Do local shops sell Polymer 80 frames?
The (unfinished) 80% frames are manufactured both without AND with serial numbers.
Some vendors sell them with the SN plate and note it in the description and mention that it must be shipped to an FFL.
I thought that was pointless but someone mentioned that some people prefer the grip angle to a Glock grip angle and perhaps live where an "unserialized" 80% isn't legal to purchase.I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!
