    Default AK smith?

Looking for recommendations for a good AK smith to build a couple guns from kits, and who can turn it around reasonably quick. I know its not particularly difficult, but I don't have the time, tools, or desire to do it myself.

Building an AR yourself with an 80% receiver for your own use is still perfectly legal.

Having someone else build one for you for a fee is not.

I well understand that - didn't say I wanted it done on an 80. I'm ok with it being built on a "100%" receiver that will require a 4473. I intend to SBR it later so its not like .gov won't know about it.

    Go on the AK FORUM.COM.
They have several vendors there that are excellent. No one around here in Pa. I been there and done that. Two River Arms has a website worth checking out. They do fantastic AK builds. An AK is not an AR15. It's not plug and play.
